Little space, but a nicely furnished shop. The food is delicious, the drinks reasonably large. There are lots of small dishes to share in groups

Nice staff, great ambience and delicious food! Unfortunately we are seldom in Potsdam but we will definitely come back next time.

It’s a tourist trap. We ordered for bowls and found ourselves eating food you probably just buy from an Aldi supermarket— their food was out of containers. I was so upset, I had an argument with the staff and they were rude. People please don’t go here.

When I saw the very bad comments about service speed and staff I was hesitant but as a Potsdam local not a tourist, I wanted to give them a chance. Well, wish I didn't. Service speed and order is another level which I have never experienced. 1.Starter came after main dish and when we asked why, waiter stated that we should point out that nachos, which is in the starters part in the menu, that is a starter and we want it upfront. 2.We ordered fajita, they arrived and about after 10 min (literally because at one point i started to count minutes) came the tortilla. 3. Also ordered quesadilla, it came with rice filling which was more of enchiladas. We stated that and waiter cancelled the quesadilla without questioning. 4. When tortillas over we asked for the second part, which we never received and after 25 min cancelled because fajita was already cold. Our waiter was a super kind guy. He was literally doing his best and as we spoke I learnt that he is a temporary outsource from a company to help. Saddest part was, despite being expensive even in Potsdam standarts, the food was good. Not mind blowing but definitely neither bad nor mediocre. Therefore 1 star goes for taste and other one goes to our waiter. Pity.

The waiters were really friendly. A meal came lukewarm ... at the same time the carrots were still raw. There were absolutely no beans and the tortillas were tough. Sweet potato grids came with the rump steak ... unfortunately, the menu didn't say that it was sweet potatoes. One expected fries ... Too bad. It really works better!

Service a disaster. Basement super unfriendly. Eat so-so. Cocktails were ok. Digital menu is great. Would be 1 out of 5 stars without the digital menu, which is really great.

The staff is very bored. Guests seem to be annoying. Getting the wrong food. Beer tastes like washing up liquid. Prices for it hearty. Make fun here ...

The food was really good. Service unfortunately not that great. No inquiries if you forget all glasses and drinks orders. We'll be back anyway because the kitchen was delicious.

Very long wait. My son's rice pudding was almost completely cold. My food is just lukewarm. The busy staff doesn't even look in the eye, no smile left. Badly organized for a Friday evening. The meat with the sauce was on top of the fries, so they were very mushy.

Great food

bad to no service, two waiters completely overworked .. one was very stressed and just ran. Have waited forever for the menu, even longer for the food: - / very, very unfortunate! However, the food was good.

We got our first drink after 45 minutes and the dish after another 30 minutes. Apparently the necessary staff is missing. The food was tasty and ok. Unfortunately, I cannot give a recommendation.

Typical tourist rip-off place. Food is not too bad however way overprized. "Homemade" special Sombredo bread was obviously from a factory bakery - a tiny slice dry baguette ... Won't go again ... Avoid if you can.

After waiting for 30 minutes they still didn't take my order, so I can't even tell you if the food is good or not... Lucky for them they are located in a premium location, I guess this is the only reason they are still in business. ?

Terrible service. The waiter shouted for asking him something on the menu.

Food was nice, staff terrible. Said we had to wait 30 minutes on the food but after 60 minutes still nothing there. Wanted to leave but had to pay for the food anyway. Waited and after 5 minutes it was served, the cashier came immediately and said “and NOW you can pay”. Very small portion of chicken, the chili con carne was good. Awe full how arrogant service can ruin your business.

The food was bad and you have to wait a lot

I mean, basically I waited forty minutes and I'm still waiting. Then it's also chilly and I'm only in my shirt, I tried to speak German and they didn't understand me but maybe that's a bit of my fault

The first drink was only after about 35 minutes and it was the last; because the service was no longer visible after the food was there.

My companion and I were there for the first time last night, we had a very friendly waiter who accompanied us quickly to the place and also the drink and later the food came in a reasonable time. However, in my opinion the music turned up louder and it was now hardly bearable. I asked the waiter if it couldn't be lowered a bit, he said no, the boss was against it. When street musicians with trombone & Co. started on the other side, we just couldn't talk anymore. It was getting fuller and I have to break a lance for what felt like the only (?) Waiter. If you save on staff, there are of course long waiting times and I found it unreasonable for the poor man to look after many (all?) Tables alone. A kind of assistant (who only brought out food) was of little help. And so it just happens that you don't get the due attention that you deserve as a guest. In our case, we waited in vain for our second bottle of wine and then paid and went somewhere else so that you could at least talk. Maybe someone of the employees got sick spontaneously or you don't get any personnel on the job market. Of course, that could be all reasons, but the first impression was just a disaster and I am no longer drawn to it.

Absolutely not recommendable! Wait over half an hour until you get a card at all, then again 2 hours until the food is at the table! Ask 2 times. The waiters are totally overwhelmed and have no overview. Such a thing shouldn't be and that's why it was our first and last visit, too bad.

Delicious food

Actually terrible. If you have any idea of what mexican food actually is, don't go here. If you have any idea of what good food tastes like, don't go here. Service was ok thus warranting at least the one star.

Food is delicious. Drinks are a bit overpriced and not a great service.

The people working there is really kind.A good place to have a nice dinner.

Food was reasonable but expensive for what you get

Not as spicy as I expected. The staff overall was nice and didn't had to wait for an unusual long time for our food. I would have wished for a more intense flavor, but it was decent enough.

This is a great place to meet friends and have an enjoyable meal together. The left side has the bar, and the right side is a separate room, which is nice and feels like a private room. The prices are good, and the food fresh and served warm. If you are looking for really authentic Mexican food, you might be a little disappointed (therefore 4 stars), but it still tastes good.

TexMex-kitchen in good quality, served quickly and nicely prepared. Nice terrace directly at the Nauener Tor.

Good Mexican Restaurant situated in one of the most touristic spots in potsdam. Sometimes with live music during evenings. Good service and ambiance along with outdoor seating. Surprised to find that they don't have Tacos or Sangria.! A bit expensive.

I wished to order tacos to take away; a waiter with German heritage, walking by asked what I would like-who did not stop and resolve the situation kept on walking, rolled his eyes and said he’s only make them if I ordered in-house; another employee behind the bar, felt squeamish, passively looked away, unable to resolve the situation did not speak to me further, either. So I left. The restaurant is owned by one company, which also owns the three other restaurants next door: the steak-house and the Austrian cafe. They do not need to give customer service. I will not give up, i will try again another time but I was on this occasion, annoyed. The menu seems good but mostly it’s all fried and it is a hot day today and I wished for something fresher. Tacos are amazing and fresh. I hope I get better luck next time.

Convenience food. Nothing worth your money. To expensive for what's sold there.

Good that we ordered only starters. We wanted to try a lot, unfortunately there is a lack of quality. If you open a bag and serve it in a nice plate, it's not your own. If you want to pay a lot for conventional food, this is the place for you.

Food was bad and just not Mexican. You can't really expect great Mexican food in Germany, but this was more Middle Eastern than Mexican.

Very OK - everything was at least nice, but I would skip the quesadilla; still, not a bad place, and definitely a good option.

I can not confirm the partially negative comments! We were eating here yesterday and loved it! Mega delicious, cocktails good and well noticed we were there shortly before 22 o'clock and were nevertheless very warmly welcomed.

Generally the food is not at all genuine, and it tastes like it came out of a can or fridge. I ate “quesadillas” that weren’t really quesadillas, more like enchiladas. And the staff assure us they were quesadillas. Didn’t even bother. Generally finding Mexican food is hard but this one is the worst so far.

Eating at a touristy spot I don’t expect much. But the quesadilla we ordered turned out to be something more akin to an enchilada. We were then told, some regions prepare it like this. That the difference between the enchilada and quesadilla was that the enchilada was prepared with corn flour, whereas the quesadilla was prepared with wheat flour.... umm no. Additionally, service overall was slow and unfriendly.

Very good food. The place is clean and the staff is nice.
